Les has joined our team to undertake customer care works in occupied houses for our new-build housing clients. He previoulsy owned and ran a maintenace firm, fitting perfectly in our business. Les said, ‘No job too big, No job too small…Just some too tall’ he joked.
On Wednesday 21st October we held our Health and Safety Seminar, hosted by ourselves with SSG Training at Sandy Park. Attended by over 200 people, this was a huge success and showed the support we have from our operatives, clients and in-house staff. The talk covered some ‘site basics’ along with our policy review. Thank you to all who attended.
We have recently been awarded a multi-trade deal for the new phase of Cranbrookwith Bovis Homes. We started out at Cranbrook some 3 years ago and have been a regular feature on site since. We are delighted to continue this relationship with Bovis Homes and Cranbrook. With the site itself being only a stones throw away it is an ideal location for ourselves.
We are delighted to announce the 2015 Apprentice of the Year is Adam Bolter. Adam has just completed his first year of the apprenticeship in ceramic tiling. This is a new trade for us to run the apprenticeship scheme in and has been very successful to date. Adam has shown commitment, maturity and progression all year and set a bench mark for all apprentices coming through the ranks. Adam was presented his award at our annual golf day at Bovey Castle.
Well done from all of us at MJ Stevens!
