1st November will go down as a milestone in the history of the company, we move out to Kennford to a new bespoke building. Louis, our MD, says “It gives me great pleasure to announce our new offices at Splatford Business Park are now open. Having been at our old premises for a number of years, they became tired and dated, it is extremely exciting for us to have moved to a brand new, purpose built Headquarters. The new location provides excellent links to the M5, A30 and A38, the perfect base for our sites. With the building only just been completed, we have all the latest up-to-date technology and internet to allow us to expand further and enhance our IT communication.”

Following a busy summer, the winter looks to continue in the same fashion. Work on site is as busy as ever and the need for quality new homes continues. We have now been awarded the new phase of a long running site in Plymouth. This continues to provide our local labour with local work on a long running basis.

This week we welcome Lee who starts with us as our drylining supervisor for Somerset, Lee takes over from Tony who will be retiring at the end of the year. Tony first started working for the company some 20 years ago and now is set to spend more time on the fishing lakes. Lee has experience in the industry and worked on numerous small bespoke projects in the past. We are very much looking forward to having him on board and building a strong business in the area.

With further sites added to our orderbook, we are looking for quality decorators and ceramic tilers. We are offering both employed and self employed positions. Our current workload allows us to provide long continued new build site work at competitive rates. We have sites across the South West in Barnstaple, Somerset, Exeter and Cornwall.

This year we are taking on 10 new apprentices/trainees and currently 5 positions have already been filled. We are now looking to fill the last 5 place for the second half of the year. This is open to all trades we offer but ideally we are looking for drylining boarders. Age is not a limiting factor and provide full on site training, CSCS Card and PPE.

This week we have been awarded the ceramic tiling contract for Priory Green in Chilton Polden. We are already undertaking the drylining and decorating services here and are delighted to be the site’s wall tiler too. If you are looking for regular site work across any of our trades please fill our your details on the contact us page.

This month we start on a new project with Elan Homes in Glastonbury. a A new development of 2 and three bedroom homes called Avalon. Avalon is situated in the historic town of Glastonbury famous for its Tor and Abbey Ruins and 6 miles from the Cathedral City of Wells. The development is approximately a mile from the town centre with its good range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, public houses, primary schools and health centres.
