We are delighted to announce the start of a new partnership with Places for People on their project in Exeter. This exciting new development is a mixture of new houses and flats using both timber frame and block construction.
We cannot wait to start here and get underway with the first dryline. Excellent work by our surveying teams ready for our production team to take to site. Well done to all involved and Thank you to Places for People for entrusting us with this site.

New Contracts Manager for Somerset Joins
Our newest ‘Summer Signing’ is Wiktor Wilczewski, who joins us as Decorating and Tiling Contracts Manager for our Somerset and Dorset region. We are delighted to welcome him to our team and build on a reputation for quality, efficiencies and knowledge.
Being based in Somerset gives Wiktor the ability to view, inspect and visit his sites regularly and thoroughly creating strong working relationships with both clients and operatives.

New Head of Production Announced
This month sees Peter Applegate joins us as Head of Production. Following 15 years with PLC builders as a contracts manager and site manager, Peter brings robust processes and a broad depth of knowledge to us. Peter is one of the number of changes within the business and our latest ‘summer signing’.
‘Having worked with MJS for all my time in the industry I was delighted to accept the role with the company. There is a bright future ahead and the continued drive from quality, system improvement and technology implementation is very impressive and I look forward to contributing to the current and future success.’ Peter commented on his arrival.
Louis Greenaway adds ‘Knowing Pete for all my working career, it is a pleasure to welcome him on board to the senior managment team. His knowledge base with the national house builders is something we want to combine with our privately run and funded business.’

MJS join local Business League to raise funds for Hospicecare.
MJS Group has joined the Devon Business League hosted by Raceworld Indoor Karting raising money for Hospicecare. So far the competition has raised over £60,000.00 and there is still the final event to run and the awards evening which is sure to raise further, much needed, funds for the charity. Going in the final MJS Group along with car collectors and racing demons ‘Chasing Cars’ sit second in the standings. They, and the charity would very much welcome any donations towards the fund raiser.

New Decorating & Tiling Contracts Manager Joins MJS
This summer we have welcomed David, our Painting and Tiling contracts manager for Devon and Cornwall. He joins us with over 25 years of experience in the decorating sector and has a strong desire to build his team here at MJS and continue to strive forwards with continually improving standards, quality and efficiencies.
Here’s what he had to say on starting his journey with us “From my first day I was made to feel welcome at MJS and made to feel a valued part of the team. There is a great ethos here and very much a working together approach. They have some great processes which help both the painters and the site managers which I am really impressed with. I am looking forward to meeting more of the team and assisting them further on my sites.”

Congratulations to our Elliott Jeffery on his promotion to Business Development Manager. Elliott is also continuing to oversee our award winning aftercare team.

6th New Site in Bridgwater
Our work in Bridgwater seems to expand by the month. This is our sixth site in the town in 12 months. This time we are working with EG Carter on 25 new build properties undertaking the decorating for them.
